Making songs that fade out is just lazy

When a song ends on fading out, they probably couldn't think of a better way to end it. How would they end it at a live concert? I'm not gonna answer that, though I assume they come up with an ending anyway.

Earth Hour isn't about saving power

You read it right.

On a certain hour on a certain day, some WWF people ask you to switch your lights off for an hour to help save the environment. As everyone is bent on the idea of "being green", they hop to it and make it something big. Companies then jump in and make money out of the whole situation, be it making them pay for the candle they use in a restaurant to selling useless plushies.

In reality, Earth Hour doesn't save much power at all, nor does it cut down on carbon emissions. "So," you ask, "What is Earth Hour for then?" Well there could be this crazy guy who wanted to see what the city would look like if there weren't any lights but since that obviously isn't the case, here's what it is:
The purpose of Earth Hour is to raise awareness, and by switching your lights off, you choose to ongoingly help save the environment.

FYI, I didn't participate in Earth Hour.
This was mainly because by the time I realized it, It was already half an hour in. I wasn't that into Earth Hour like I was several years ago either.

Angry Birds is overrated - The Followup: Angry Birds Space

Some time ago, Rovio announced and later released Angry Birds Space. They even have a partnership with NASA so some guy on the Space Station did a commercial thing about it. The game came out and it does look fun. What they still need is an easy-to-access replay button, like Where's My Water? and Cut The Rope. I have yet to get the game though, can't wait.

Facebook invades my privacy

The alternate title for this post would have been "Facebook is too mainstream" but still.

I do not have a Facebook account.
Or to be more specific:

I no longer have a Facebook account.

I was not really active on Facebook to begin with, and so left my account unused, only checking on it once in a while.

Then the Anonymous hacking group announced that it was going to launch an attack on Facebook to shut it down on November 5th of 2011. It had stated it sold secrets to governments and all that.

So I deleted my Facebook account.

While Facebook never did go down, I'm still glad my Facebook account is now removed. While my details will still be on the Facebook databases, they will not be accessible from the public and that's fine.

Instagram - What about?

So you take a picture, add a filter and upload it to Instagram for millions to see. So what? I don't know, but it does seem addictive. You'd feel great when people like and comment on your photos, right?

I use Instagram, but I rarely ever apply a filter. They take away the originality. I also heard that Instagram was joining Facebook or something. I should write about Facebook soon...

Lack of vocabulary

Why my posts are always short. I always try to make them long but I always lack the vocabulary to do so. This is not the reason for the lack of posts, since I never get around to it. I'll try to get a post up tomorrow if any and if I have something to say, which I doubt I would so I might probably just put up the last awesome video I found.

Temple Run is addictive

I play Temple Run, an iPhone game where you steal an idol from a temple and run away from the demon monkeys that chase you. You can jump, duck or tilt to avoid obstacles. It is a drain on the iPhone battery though. Even my parents are hooked. I got a higher score than them too. 2,036,496 is my highest.

Angry Birds is overrated

In case you didn't know, Angry Birds is an iPhone game where you fling suicidal birds at precariously built structures trying to kill the green pigs in it. Sure, the concept is great but it's awfully repetitive. Fling birds, knock down stuff, kill pigs, rinse and repeat. The game got so popular they even made angry bird merchandise. Some people even made fake angry bird merchandise too, to get money off this angry bird craze. They have angry bird toy sets, which aren't even official. I'll settle with a good game of Temple Run or Tiny Wings, yaknow.

Tourette Syndrome

A neurobiological disorder that
induces involuntary tics. At least two motor tics and at least one phonic tic. Read the Wikipedia article here.

And yes, I have Tourette Syndrome.

If everything not chicken tastes like chicken, why not eat chicken?

It is cheaper right? The only thing
I say tastes like chicken is turkey, since I haven't tried any another bird based meat before. Except duck, which doesn't taste like chicken either.

Starting Anew

Yes, I know I have been quiet for more than two years. Whatever it is, I'm thinking of starting anew. Oh, and I play Minecraft now. Club Penguin's for babies.
